You should set up a deduction donation Expense account I would do it with a default GST code of N-T, as there is no GST on donations and they are not reportable in BAS. Go to Taxes and choose Payroll Tax.
Click on Pay Taxes.
On the Pay Taxes page, click on Record payment for the tax you want to pay.
For the Payment Date, select Other and enter the actual date the payment was made.
Enter the check number.
Click on Record.
